Pour la plupart d'entre vous, NetBoot n'est qu'une technologie parmi d'autres, qui ne vous manquera pas, mais pour quelques-uns, c'est une nouvelle petite page de l'histoire d'Apple qui se tourne. Car la technologie NetBoot est intimement liée au premier iMac, le bonbon translucide bleu de 1998. macOS Catalina a terminé d'enterrer NetBoot, la technologie permettant de démarrer un Mac depuis un système enregistré non pas sur un disque dur, mais sur un serveur.
