Car la technologie NetBoot est intimement liée au premier iMac, le bonbon translucide bleu de 1998. macOS Catalina a terminé d'enterrer NetBoot, la technologie permettant de démarrer un Mac depuis un système enregistré non pas sur un disque dur, mais sur un serveur.
